Covenant University ranks first in W’Africa


 Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, has been ranked first in Nigeria, third in Africa, and 73rd globally out of the 1,023 entries from 749 universities in 92 countries according to Times Higher Education’s newly unveiled Interdisciplinary Science Research ranking for 2025.

The institution was also ranked first among the universities in West Africa.

In a statement made available to Saturday PUNCH on Friday, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Abiodun Adebayo, was quoted as saying that the ranking was a validation of the visionary base of the university.

He added that the feat was a part of the extraordinary happenings recorded in the school within a short time with the effort to train a new generation of leaders in all spheres of human endeavour.
