A total of 192 graduates from Lagos State University, Ojo, will receive First Class degrees at the institution’s 28th convocation.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello announced during a press briefing on Thursday at the university’s Senate building, as part of the convocation activities.
According to Olatunji-Bello, this year’s convocation marks her fourth consecutive ceremony as Vice Chancellor of the institution.
She said, “Among the 8,711 students graduating with first degree programmes from the University, 192 came out with First Class honours and 17 with Unclassified(MBBS/BDS) Degrees, 3076 graduated with Second Class Upper Division, 4397 with Second Class Lower Division, 990 with Third Class and 39 with a pass.
