What is IJMB?

IJMB stands for the Interim Joint Matriculation Board. It is an approved, proven, and certified Advanced level programme moderated by Ahmadu Bello University with coordinating bodies in various tertiary institutions.

The IJMB program is a nine-month intensive academic program that is designed to prepare students for direct entry into the 200 level in any Nigerian university. It is an alternative to JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) and is recognized by 95% of Nigerian universities.

The IJMB program consists of two semesters, during which students take courses in their chosen fields of study. At the end of the program, students take the IJMB examination, and those who pass are eligible for direct entry into the 200 level in any Nigerian university.
